Machu Picchu 2 day Tour
Day 1 Cusco – Aguas Calientes Town
Machu Picchu 2 day by Train starts in Cusco, we are going to pick you up from your hotel at 7:15am and take you to the Train Station, located at 20 minutes away from Cusco, train departure is at 8:25am, we have 3 hours train ride to Aguas Calientes town and it goes through the sacred Valley of the Incas following the right bank of the Urubamaba River with espectacular views and you get to pass by stunning Inca ruins.
After your accommodation in the Hotel, you have a free afternoon, and you can explore this amazing town on your own, like the thermo medicinal hot springs, handicraft center and Machu Picchu museum, which is 20 minutes walking from the town, it has an interesting information and photographs of Machu Picchu when it was discovered.
Day 2 Aguas Calientes – Machu Picchu – Cusco
After an early breakfast in your hotel you will board the bus up the switchback road to the ancient city of the Incas, it takes 30 minutes. Stunning place surronded by breathtaking snow-capped mountains and a beutiful Urubanba River bordering the City. You are visiting one of the new seven wonders in the world and you really need a professional tour Guide to explore properly and enjoy the beauty of this sacred place, it takes 3 hours.
Afterward you have extra time to explore the ruins on your own, and if you have booked a permit to climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain it will be your next adventure. The Sun Gate is another hike, where Inca Trail hikers arrive through it to Machu Picchu; it takes 1 hour of hike and is free and available to all.
Usual train departure is in the afternoon to Ollantaytambo and then bus to Cusco.

Machu Picchu montaña and huayna picchu are optional hike inside of Machu Picchu citadel. You can do by your own after the guided tur but, if you would like to this with a tour guide, please tequest in advance.

Machu Picchu Tour by Train- Price
Inka Trail Explorer warmly welcomes to you, and we really want to make the best experience for you. Our train tours can leave any day of the week, 12 months a year. As long as we have two people minimum, we would love to take you on this overnight tour to one of the Wonders of the Worldy.

Group service means that is open to other people to join you on this tour, but, our groups size are always small, maximun 8 People for group.

Discounts:
Student Discount: US$20 (Requires ISIC Card to qualify)
Student Discounts apply to anyone who has a valid GREEN ISIC card at the time of the trek or is 16 years old or younger. For those using an ISIC card to receive the discount, we do need to see a copy of the card at booking. How to book
It’s always better contact us directly and confirm with our team before your booking. Once you are ready, please fill in our Booking Form and pay the Deposit of $200 US per person. Our office will email you back that day with your confirmation. We always send out confirmations, so if you don’t hear from us, check your spam or contact our office and we will resend.
