Packing List

Peru – Machu Picchu Packing List
The weather in Peru varies according to the area the changes in altitude are sometimes so extreme that the climate can go from freezing snow in the high mountains to boiling sun in low areas.
Most of the hotels in Cusco let you store bags for free, but sometimes we have clients that they don´t have that choice in the hotel where they stay, so in that cases Inka Trail Explorer offers you its storage for free and you can leave your luggage until you finish your trek or tour.
When you choose the trekking option, you will typically carry the gear you need for trekking from one camp to the next in a medium-sized daypack. The rest of your of your staff or gear goes in a larger duffel bag that will be provided by Inka Trail Explorer and it will be carried by our porters or horses, depending which trek or tour you go on.
